If you are ploughing through the programme (and check out your programme and planner here!) here is a little light relief..a trailer for the show in Atlanta! Doesn’t tell you much but does give an insight into the dress code for doctors in the US..white coats (long sleeves..!) with ties (have they heard of infection control?!) and a stethascope…there are clearly 2 ways to wear a stethascope , neither of which is in the pocket. So, maybe one style wins over the other?! See the trailer and complete the poll….

/ March 12, 2010I agree, Sarah. But do we have evidence that ties/white coats DO actually promote nosocomial infections? I know we are told that we must not wear them, but I’ve never seen the evidence behind the change.
