The ACC and the BCS have always enjoyed a special relationship.
Dr Huon Gray, previous President of BCS, is currently the Chair of the ACC International Affairs Committee. A UK Chapter of the ACC for Fellows of the ACC resident in the UK is being set up and is the first of its kind outside the USA. Importantly, the UK Chapter will have a voice in the governance of the ACC. (What is a Chapter?- http://www.acc.org/about/chapters/chapters.htm)
The BCS has also entered a twinning arrangement with the California Chapter of the ACC. This will create manay opportunities for BCS members and for trainees in terms of educational and research initiatives, exchange Fellowships.
The BCS is now linking with the ACC to bring this blog to you all and we hope it will be a valuable resource before, during and after the conference.

/ March 3, 2010It will be good to have a UK perspective on what is happening at the ACC for those of us who are unable to attend and have a flavour for what are the key topics some of which are not always obvious without direct participation. Look forward to Sarah’s view of the ACC.
